Wow!!! Are the Red Sox kickin butt or what!!! I haven't seen them play this good in more years than I care to remember.

It actually looks like they're going to take it home this year. Did I say Wow already?

(jjorge, thinking aloud)

"Wow, Three games to none!
Maybe I don't need ALL of these things!"

( puts away his prayer wheel, St Louis Cardinals voodoo dolls, rosary beads, etc. .......Then, thinking....remembering 1946, 1967, 1975, 1978, 1986...remembering Bucky Dent, Bill Buckner...)

"Well, I'd better keep this rabbit's foot...
...and I'll leave my lucky underwear on another day or so..."

let's try not to jinx them all, though it does seem they're onto something more than luck.....

Oh yeah jjorge. You must keep those things out until it's over because the Red Sox truly put the meaning to "it ain't over until it's over"! ;-)

They are hot this year and I personally have a feeling that they're gonna sweep up this time around.

Fingers crossed.

would love to see a sweep, but have a gut feeling the cards will scratch and claw for a win tonight (they didn't win 105 games this year by accident -- they're gooooooood)...

sawx'll finish 'em off tmrw night Very Happy

Agreed, unless you can go to the park. I went to two games this past season, one minor league game in San Jose and one at SBC Park, where I watched the Giants lose to the Expos of all things, and Barry pop out in his only at bat. Awesome ballpark though.

This summer for a BoyScout/CubScout day at a local AA minor league park I sold soda and cotton candy in the stands. Not only were the games good (it was a double header) the fans were riot. It was great fun and I saw the games for free. (Nearly killed my back though, 27 bottles of soda to a tray)

Believe me I love the Red Sox, but don't say anything until it is done and over. Remember the series just completed, the Red Sox came back and won after being down 0-3 games. I am typically not a pessimist and do think the Red Sox will do it, but I have also been through this beforeĀ….

In the history of the three biggies, the NFL, NBA and NHL, there have only been three instances of a comeback from 3 down. One of course belongs to the Sox. The other two were in the NHL. It's never happened in the NBA.
