The "So you think you know art" game

Some of these pictures are "great" works of art which you would go to the best galleries to see and would pay enormous sums of money to collect. Some of these paintings were created by small children and people with disabilities or mental illnesses. IF you can tell me which is which, you will win a cyber prize. No outsider art which has recieved a great deal of recognition is included. This is the first part of the game:

Have fun, and feel free to post your own. This isn't a criticism of modern art, which I happen to like. I'm just curious as to how well you can tell these categories apart.

Ok, we are suppose to figure out which was created by a child and which by an adult with mental problems?

Sort of Laughing

One of the paintings was created by a famous modern artist, the other by a not so famous person. I'm just curious as to whether anyone can identify the "masterwork". Smile

I better not play this game because I do know art.
Unfair advantage.

Brilliant!

No, play, part of the game was to see who . You can make the references and artists reasonably obscure if you want + there are bound to be others who know art history reasonably well.

Anybody who wants to start the next round ( post two paintings) is welcome.

One of my goals as an artist is to be able to paint like a child, or even a monkey or catx--which is to say, like Hoffman.

"A" was drawn by a man with autism. I don't think it would really count as "great art" but i find it pleasant.
