Kit Carson is good mainly because kit is not the same as kitty and kit
is a baby fox.
Newt Gingrich is great
Buffalo Bill Cody is ok Making Bill the middle name
unlike in Mad Dog where the first name Mad is not an animal.

Not a first name, but we have an aboriginal actor with the name, Ernie Dingo. I really like that!

Gus' post reminded me of another great famous wrestler with an animal first name.

Gorilla Monsoon.

You don't need to be so defensive SCoates! If your going to give an obscure name for an animal you should put what type of animal.
now most people have heard of Queen Bees or Queen Ants (which won't work in this game unless someone is named Queen Bee. Now I did look it up in the dictionary and found that Queen is sometimes used for a female cat that is used for breeding. So it is acceptable but something tells me you may not have known that. If you had put the type of animal there would have been no problem. Anyway I apologize

Sorry, I've been away for awhile. I was just joking around. What I meant is, people are animals, so any title belonging to a person IS an animal. Policeman, for example, is an animal name.

LOL ... but it wouldn't make much sense to include people in
this game/list. Yes I know humans are part of the animal kingdom but when we use the term animals normally we mean all animals except humans.

Has anyone mentioned Dov Baer of Mezeritch? I'd assume not, but, there's one. Dov, I think, means Bear.
