I am in a big and heavy debate with a friend about which word is correct in this sentence and would like some feedback. I swear that I am right and she swears that she is right. Below are the same sentences except for one word...
Can anyone shed some light on this?

My parents use to take me to the store
My parents used to take me to the store

Which one is correct?

Thanks much

It's always 'used'. It may sound like 'use' when some people say it, but the -ed is at the end when it is written. The only exceptions are in a negative e.g. I didn't use to like vodka, or a question e.g. Did you use to watch boxing on TV?
