Don Perignon?

My husband for our honey moon bought this expensive wine! Don perignon, I think it is spelled wrong

I tried it, but I felt so bad because I did not like it Sad

I felt like a dumb brat, but it didn't seem to have a taste to it, but the bubbles were quite delicate

Maybe I am so used to cheap stuff, that when an expensive thing comes along, I dont know how to appreciate it! But he has another bottle for our anniversary, hopefully That will go over better

Dom Perignon is exquisite french Champagne and a bottle runs around $ 100.- Perhaps you don't like Champagne, but I hope you didn't
tell your husband as he for sure would be disappointed to have spent
so much money on a special bottle of Champagne, and you don't
like it.

I do like Champagne - bruit (the dry version) but for everyday life
I settle for a good bottle of red wine - preferably from California.

It's OK. One of the good things about wine is that you DON'T have to like it and you can say so without offending too many people. Some folks can get worked up about beer brands or Tennessee-sipping whiskey, but wine is up to you.

It may have been that he purchased a particularly dry wine ('dry' in these sense refers to the lack of residual sugars in the final product). You just might prefer sweeter wines.
