Can you give an example of "peoples who should food stamps can't get them"?

To qualify for food stamps you need to make under a certain amount. I don't know where you live of what the qualifications are for your state, so I can only assume that if someone is denied food stamps, they most likely make too much money or I believe they wouldn't qualify if they had no physical address. If you know someone who needs food, have them check out the salvation army and the local soup kitchens.

I am talking about somebody on S.S.I. and they don't $600.00 a month. The husband want and don't work. This is just an examlpe. ok. Cool. Now what do you have to say about this come back? Hola back. I am talking about VA area of the mean world.

That's not English. Type your question clearly and you will probably get an answer. For instance; what does "S.S.I. and they don't $600.00 a month?" mean? What do you mean by the "husband want and don't work"? And lastly, what is the "VA area of the mean world"? I'm not trying to be smart, Panz... I really don't understand what's being asked.

SSI is Social Security. The $600 is what they make a month. I think they mean that the husband won't work, althought I agree that it's hard to understand.

Now, back to your problem. I am surprised that you are not entitled to food stamps, as I know people who are on a disability who recieve food stamps and medical as well. It must have something to do with the state that you're in. Have you been to your local welfare office to try to get help from them?

From what I understand, you have a dead beat husband on you hands, which is probably why you don't qualify for food stamps and medical. The way the system looks at it, is that you are living with someone who is able to work and help provide, so it sounds like it's the dead beat who is the problem.

Okay. So you receive Social Security Disability benefits of $600 per month... for him(?)... he can't work and you are being told you don't qualify for Food Stamps. Did they say why not? Is this because your income disqualifies you?

SSI- Supplemental Security Income is not Social security, it is a federal (not state) program for people who have not earned enough income to qualify for social security benefits due to an incapacity to earn a living.
SSDI is Social Security Disability Insurance for those who have earned social security benefits and are currently disabiled.
Food Stanps is a Federal (not state) program offered by the Depart Of Agriculture for low income individuals.
all of the above have different criteria for eligibility, hope this helps.

Then the only thing you can do is to get rid of him. If he doesn't have an income and is holding you back from recieving benifits you're entitled to, show the bum the door. As you said, you have a child to support and you are taking from that child by letting this dead beat suck off of you. Ditch him!
