That was the last weekly sitcom that I watched with any regularity. The reruns ran nightly, two back-to-back, but that's over now too.
I didn't know it had ended. It was a curious show to be a hit....just great writing and acting
is there any word on what the actors are doing next?
Especially interested in the dog...
heard he was thrown into rehab for a queer addition to catnip
I've recently discovered this show in reruns (not shown in any particular order) and so far I've only seen about 15 or so episodes but have found it to be a gem. A couple of my favorite moments have been:
Frasier: I find myself in a bit of a quandary. Well, it's not so much a quandary, really, it's more of a pickle. Well, not so much a pickle, but, well, but, no, more than a cornichon.
Niles: What is it?
Frasier: I think I want to be with Lana, not Claire.
Niles: Forgive me, Frasier, but that's one bigass cornichon.
and
Fraiser [to himself]: (chuckling) Fraiser, once again you've suffered the tragedy of being clever and alone.
I have a brother and although we are more like the Marty character I find the interaction between the brothers to be genuine much like real brothers. Without as much as a word being spoken they can convey to each other exactly what they are thinking with just a look. The plots are generally believable although some have been a tad over the top (especially with the Roz character) few sitcoms can take a some liberties (Seinfeld) and still come off genuine as does Frasier. It's a smart funny.
Come to Oz, eoe. You'll get to see endless re-runs!
Endless re-runs here, too. Not dubbed. With subtitles. Yesterday, Roz lied about her age.

The recurring guest star, Lillith (Bebe Neuwirth, who also stars in many Broadway productions, including "Chicago"), Frasier's ex-wife, originally with him on "Cheers," will be a starring in the newest spin-off of "Law & Order" to begin in January 2005.
Thanks for the info and welcome to A2K

Did anyone catch Kelsey Grammer as Scrooge in a made-for-tv version of A Christmas Carol this season?
