@christine237,
What culture are you talking about? About what in particular you need to be helped¿

You are an American with a European background and wants to ask a few cultural questions. It would have sounded more serious if you had known your own background -like what European country your ancestors came from.

What religion are you? A major cultural issue.

@momoends,
Someone that comes from a different religious/cultural background than myself. For example, I am a Lutheran, white, female that grew up in Michigan. My ancestors are Polish, however, my family did not carry on any of those cultural ideals.

@christine237,
Why look into another cultural background than your own?
Your ancestors are Polish. How come you are Lutheran? What was life like in Poland when the ancestors came to USA, how has the traditional food changed. Are there Polish groups in USA where the old traditions are kept? Anyone gone back to Poland from USA? How is that.
There is already a cultural difference between Poland and USA.

@christine237,
I would suggest you find someone where you live to interview. Ask at school, or the Catholic church or at a Senior Citizen Resident. Older people often have interesting things to tell and time.
