Comments and critiquing are greatly appreciated.

Dreamwood is a creation of the mind. It's not quite a dream, yet it's not reality. It's a place where you can "dream" of something without sleeping, yet feel what you dream of. It's a place where imagination happens. Few are fortunate enough to find Dreamwood. But what you feel is not real. The trees and grass are real, but even so, imagination is your dream. The mind that created Dreamwood belonged to an elf, for elves are a thing of dreams. The picture was originally of the elf, until I added the nice background, and decided to call it "Dreamwood", for lack of a better name for the elf.

well i like the blueness of it all..
like the 'will-o-the-wisp' effect lighting too...

i notice the 'couple' in the background.. have any significance in particular?

i think the elf could look happier, after all your description sells dreamwood like its a wonderful place but the elf doesnt look so happy...

The couple represent the few that manage to find Dreamwood. Yes, maybe the elf could look happier, but I drew the elf before I got the idea of Dreamwood, so it ended up looking like this. I always try to draw my characters expressionless.
