I am getting weeping tile and blue skin installed in my concrete basement. My installer says that the blue skin will not adhere to my footing properly, but that the weeping tile and the blue skin on the walls will be sufficient. Is he just being lazy? Or will this really be ok?

I know nothing about blue skin, but he's probably right. If he's a good workman, he is unlikely to want to do something that will hurt his reputation. If he recommendation also saves you money, you should listen to his advice.

Thanks Roger, I assume so, but I know nothing about it either, and you can't trust everyone unfortunately, but thanks again for your advice.
