I'm trying to better understand the electrical situation in my apartment. My power went completely out, without affecting neighbours in my apartment complex. I've managed to get my superintendent to reset the breakers with me, to no avail. What could be causing an outage if the breaker doesn't appear to be the source of the power outage?
Thanks for any help in advance!

A major short, often associated with the A/C condenser, could be it. Or the outside meter box could be needing replaced. The management should send in somebody that knows how to diagnose and fix this as soon as possible.
Or failure to pay your bill!
@Cstevens,
If neither of the suggestions from the two previous posters help you to solve this problem, perhaps the reason for your problem can be traced back to something you said or did which angered the government. Were you involved in any subversive activity just prior to your power outage?
