Is Pats - Cards a Thursday game?

Or do you just want an early choice cause you're making up the tally now?

I'll still pick my Pats. At least for the preliminary stages.
No, just asking.

But if the Patriots DO win, we're going to look really smart.

@George,
I'm sorely tempted to go towards the darkness and be traitorous - especially with Gronk having a sore hammy and having not seen a lot of playing time in pre-season. However, Pats history has dictated otherwise...and the cream always rises to the top...sometimes even in first game. The Hoodie most likely has many tricks up his sleeve.

My humble prediction: Watch Garrulous Galloping Garopollo run for a TD.

Still, all in all, I'll vote with my heart. I'll feel OK- no matter what the results.

@Ragman,
I've never heard him called that before... The Hoodie. As you know I don't especially follow the Pats, but I don't hate them either; just not up on what's going on day to day.

I was a Pats picker this time.. hoping for Garopallo to do well enough.

@ossobucotemp,
Bellicose ...err.. I mean Belichick, is called the The Hoodie because of his attire typically has him in a hooded sweatshirt. The sports announcers often refer to him that way.

@Ragman,
I've seen the photos for a long time, but I don't hear the discourse, enjoy knowing about it.

Taunting penalty. One more such infraction and you are ejected!

Wowsers.

Really? Two strikes and you're out?

@George,
That's what the commentators said. I didn't know a touchback now puts the ball on the 25 yrd line.

The NFL wants fewer returns.

During the pre-season the kickers were having a good run of short-kicking the ball to around the 10-15yd line. They can easily kick it to around the 10yd line and work on having the coverage keep the receiving team behind the 20.

@realjohnboy,
I'm really not a John Elway fan, but I kinda like the new kid.

Was counting on the Denver kid to get rattled and the Carolina kicker to not.
And the concussion Gestapo to not intervene.
Three strikes and I'm out. Sad
