100 hours until kickoff of the 1st game of the season.
Please make your picks for Week #1. You have the option of making a choice in the Thursday, September 8th match and coming back later to select winners ahead of the other fifteen games.

@realjohnboy,
I may still twiddle but probably not - I tend to carry on my adventurous ways despite the pitfalls.

@realjohnboy,
Thanks for asking. Greetings and hugs and high fives to all. Looking fwd to an exciting fall and NFL season. What year for me - so FAR!

Nr end of November , my significant other and I'll be traveling to New Zealand for 2 months. She lived there for 16 yrs prior to a few years ago and still owns a business- a cinema in a charming small town (on the South Island). We'll be in or around Marlboro country watching a friend's farm and dog-sitting at a vineyard and watching the grapes grow.

Afterward, well travel to Australia briefly (Sydney), then to South Africa where she spent most of her early years and most of her aunts and cousins still live. In late Feb well visit Victoria Falls and then will be part of a safari in Kruger National Park.

At some point in March we'll return to The States and settle in a new residence in Sarasota Fl. We are just closing on a house this week. We took an excursion there 2 weeks ago and found a modest home with a lovely flower garden.

This is beyond my wildest dreams even for a man with a good imagination. She is the answer to my prayers as she is a delight. My life had only been limited to travel within North America, Mexico and the Caribbean while in my 20s-40s.

This is all going to happen 3 years after my dealing with some serious health issues - thankfully, now in total recovery. Same for her, too - survivor of breast cancer having beat it totally. Sometimes, you just get lucky.

BTW, she and I met online in Sarasota where I've lived for 7 yrs . Our primary residence will be there but we now both a live in upstate NY at a lively lakeside home. Can't wait for the foliage which is hinting to start now. Taking lots of photos of the barns horse farms, rolling hills, corn fields and foliage.

Looking back at what I wrote. What a ray of sunshine, huh.

Hey everyone. I got busy over the weekend and did not even turn on my computer. By now I'm guessing you know that all is well here in Charleston, SC. The huge storm that had everyone worried was not really all that bad, especially a few miles inland where I live. Good amount of rain Friday, a little bit of wind, but not a big deal, especially for those of us who were here for hurricane Hugo back in 1989. Anyway, thanks for the concern and sorry for not checking in sooner.

@George,
I am sort of expecting the Patriots to be fired up out to win despite the setbacks. An emotion that may make them play beyond the norm. Then again they could wimp out. I look for the first.
