I am seeing notices on Facebook that he has passed away. I mourn one of the truly good guys I have known on here.

I'm friends with him on fb and was "following" him, but never saw the posts from his family.

He was always a very steady, kind and thoughtful person here.

I currently have no internet in my home, but learned of this through text message.
This is truly heartbreaking. One of my favorite people to read, and for many , many years.. ongoing conversation.. and tons of good advice on how to stay clear, loving and go forward.
This is sad,sad news.
I hope his family can find some peace some time soon.
Is anyone in touch with his family at all on fb?
It's a kind of relief that he didn't feel pain.

John was a sweet and kind man who was devoted to his family. It was a pleasure to know him personally and I'm saddened by his passing. My condolences go out to his loved ones.
