Redoing my crusty pink room...

As of right now, my room is sponged with two different pink colors and a rose stencil. That is not my taste at all anymore and i want to redo it a sage green (my fav. color) and a really light lilac. I have four walls (basically a square) and my floor is already sage. I have a chairrail, I just don't know how to paint my walls so that they won't be blah...

Basically I just need some ideas!

The color scheme you've selected sounds very nice. Since the floor is already sage, I suggest not too much sage on the walls, otherwise you'll look like you're living in a green box. Confused

Since there's a chair rail, you can use that as a dividing point or as an accent. How about sage on the rail, with lilac both above and below it, but either the upper or lower part sponged, with the other half painted normally (flatly)? This will add interest and cover your color scheme.
