subject + make + object + bare infinitive

May I ask you 1 question (about grammar):

As we know this grammar rule:
subject + make + object + bare infinitive (infinitive without “to”)
ex: they made the baby cry

However, in this music video, (minute 2:03), I found this sentence :
God made marriage to be for life.

Please tell me why there is "to" (before BE) in the sentence.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Be careful not to apply grammar rules before you understand the sentence.

God made marriage (how?)

This phrase is not an infinitive, but rather is an adverb. (to>be for> life0

"God made marriage to be for life" means "God made marriage, intending it to be for life". My tailor made a suit to fit me. My mother made a cake to please me.
