We now have eight players, so we are good to go.

Edgar, I would recommend doing a couple of mock drafts to get the feel of
how it works.

Question: is it worth taking Brady and, if so, how many rounds to wait?

Just remember to give Tico's advice all the attention it deserves.

@George,
Why wait? You could always take him as your first pick.

Whatever happened to Alex-with-the-numbers?
You could always count on him to pick Matthew Stafford in round one.

@Cycloptichorn,
I might actually take him if he was still available in the later rounds.
But how late? I haven't decided.

We're doing great. Wife is going to have another kid, so that's exciting. I'm already tired though so I think I'm going to die unless things get better here in about 5-7 years.

Awesome news! Kid #2 increases exponentially everything about being a parent. Both the joys and the responsibilities. Things will get better! lol.

I found kid #2 merely doubled the cost of family expenditures. You do get some exemptions for awhile with the "5 and under" lines, then the "12 and under" lines, then the "17 and under", but don't let that fool you.

I am finally in process of delivering one away which will lower many household costs.

@McGentrix,
I can only wait and hope for such a day. Only good news is that we are quite stocked with things like equipment, clothes etc., but yeah it's gonna be expensive

Anyway Re: Football, think we can get two more by this weekend and make it 10???

Cheers

Ten would be awesome, as long as they really wanted to do it. I'd rather
not have any "I'll do it, but I won't really pay attention" players.

You think you've got it sorted out and then you have kid number three.
And now you're outnumbered.

@George,
Yup, and then you have no choice but to switch to a Prevent or soft Zone defense, which sucks.

We are planning on two only because it's impossible to afford three here in the Bay Area. Maybe two and a smart dog.

@Cycloptichorn,
Afford?
Dang, never thought of that.

So we are not doing PPR this year?

@Ticomaya,
Yikes! We have fallen asleep at the switch here in Stoneham.

We are going to use the same settings as last year.

@George,
Okay, I have just returned from an emergency settings session with the
Commish in the Man-Cave. I believe last season's scoring settings are back
in place. Draft accordingly.

@George,
Pretty sure we are playing half-point PPR this year. Don't think we did that last year. Good news tho because I drafted that way.

Pretty happy with my late-blooming team, Yahoo thinks I suck because I didn't draft a backup TE or QB. Who programs those automated draft grades?

@Cycloptichorn,
I printed out the settings from last year and sat down with Rhys while he
plugged them in to this season's league. If they are not the same, then I
cannot account for the discrepancy.

Draft grade are ridiculous. How can anyone presume to grade me without
knowledge of my master plan? <Insert evil genius laugh here.>
