I may get an email, but I'll be doing a league with some friends this year, and IDP at that. Good luck to all this year..

You can easily play more than one league.

@Ticomaya,
Hell, I'll be in three this year. IF I ever get the invite email, which I still haven't.

Hope all is well with ya Tico. You're a Cardinals fan, right? That David Johnson is something else, y'all must be excited for this season.

Cheers

We're gonna have to recruit several more people pretty quick if this thing is going to work this year boys

@Cycloptichorn,
My computer (etc) is too wonky to trust week to week, but I'll be following this thread if anyone posts in it after you folks get the game going..

I'd say eight would be the minimum.
What do you think?

@George,
Maybe Ragman has responded but, if not, he's busy with lots of travel in the immediate future and much else. Not to respond for him, though we are old pals, but he's here less and less for the last while.

How are you posting to A2k, osso? If you have a smartphone, you can run a Yahoo fantasy league.

I am willing to give it a try, if somebody will tell me how to get started.

Everything is going very well here in the Valley of the Sun. How are you doing?

Yes! Big Cardinals fan. David Johnson is a stud. We should do pretty well this year, as long as Carson stays healthy (and doesn't implode in the playoffs). I don't think we lost anyone from last year.

@Ticomaya,
I don't have a smart phone - I have one on my list, but have other priorities going on.

I will play if we have a Pickum Game this year..

I confess to spending part of this early morning reading NFL type news... waste of time given other things to do, but fun.

@edgarblythe,
Oh, good, glad to hear that. People will help.. just ask, we were all learners once.

There's a draft of your eventual team that will happen, and different ways to do that, including pretty much doing nothing, where it's done for you automatically from Yahoo's list; all the way to picking a hundred or more players and putting them in order re which ones you want or don't want; or somewhere in between, when you just set up, say, your first fifty players in some order in your preferred players list.. and let the automatic thing take care of the rest. You can participate in the live draft, or just watch it picking your players, or go out to dinner and come back and see who is on your team.

During the season, you can move around some of your players, or change them for other ones on the players lists. It sounds complicated but really isn't... it's pretty friendly, not the usual a2k hostile scenario.

Ed! Sweet!

All you need to know is draft Kickers early and often! And lots of Houston Texans (but I didn't need to tell you that, right?)!

@Ticomaya,
I am conflicted, re Texans quarterback. He is so highly rated in the media, but I have yet to see him looking like Superman or even the Green Arrow.

First, the commissioner sends you an invitation. My son Rhys is the
commish. If you send me an email address by PM, I will relay it to Rhys.

When you get the invitation, just follow the directions on it. If you do
not have a Yahoo account, you will need to get one.

Once you've signed up, you are assigned a team with a default name
based on your user ID. Most folks change it to something less lame.

Then you draft a team. You can join the live draft and chat along with
the rest of us or let Yahoo auto-pick.

Once play starts, you just make sure you've got your starting roster set up
every week, making sure you put bench players in for starters who are on
a bye week or injured.

That's pretty much it.

@Ticomaya,
We're doing great. Wife is going to have another kid, so that's exciting. I'm already tired though so I think I'm going to die unless things get better here in about 5-7 years.

I have DJ as my keeper in my money league. Incredibly excited for him this year, I think he has star potential and I have the Cards as my early favorite to go all the way this year.

Cheers
