If neither of the presidential candidates receive a majority of the electoral votes, then the U.S. House of Representatives chooses the next president from a list of the top three candidates. Each State in the U.S. House of Representatives receives one vote.
For those States that have more than one representative in the House, do the representatives first have an election for who that State will vote for?
What if there is an even number of representatives and there is a tie?
