I have a dual fan window fan that has a fuse in the plug. The fuse is bad and I have not been able to find one to replace it. Is it ok to replace the plug with a regular plug?
@genalsh,
Gen I'd say yes, provided only that you confirm it's connected in the hot side
@genalsh,
If the fuse blew, there is a high likelihood that something is wrong with the fan.
A commonn scenario: those pesky fuses... blowing all the time... must be faulty... we'll bypass it... Hey! what's all that smoke? FIRE!!! HELP!!! OH MY GOD THE INSURANCE WON'T PAY OUT!!!!
You can but this is not the ideal solution of it. You first look for the alternative one.
