So, what did you sing underneath the shower this morning?

I sang Dry Your Eyes by The Streets.

Cool question, Rick! I sang 'Deadweight,' by Beck:

On a highway unpaved
Going my way
You're so alone today
Like a ghost town, I've found
There's no relief, no salt in the sea

Is it true what they say?
You can't behave
You gamble your soul away
Measuring your dreams
Oh this life seems like the gristle of loneliness

Don't let the sun catch you crying
Don't let the sun catch you crying

Like an ice age, nice days on your way
Sipping the golden dregs
On a rip tide, freaks ride
Sleep inside a parasite's appetite

Oh say can't you see?
The chemistry
The parasites, the cleanup fee
Death leather hands, recycled cans
Get well cards to the hostage vans

Don't let the sun catch you crying
Don't let the sun catch you crying

You're a deadweight, ride straight
On your way
Sunk in the midnight shade
Skies burn, eyes turn
Learning to counterfeit their disease

In this town where we roam
We bluff our souls on canteen patios
We Drink the greatest draft
The music drags
The music drags
The music drags

Don't let the sun catch you crying
Don't let the sun catch you crying

Under the shower itself, or just under the water emanating from it? I'll tell you about whoever sings 'under' the shower....they have a great set of pipes.

Dil dooba Dil dooba
Neelee aankhon main yeh dil dooba
Mehbooba, mehbooba,
bus itna jaan le tu mehbooba,
ishq main tere jeeta hoon,
ishq main tere mar jaoonga

(my heart drowns, oh my heart drowns
in yr blue eyes, my heart drowns
lover, oh lover,
all you need to know is
I live for your love
I will die for your love)

Stillwater, I think that the song you mention is one of the most popular songs to sing underneath the shower (as in: under the water emanating from it)

I like to start my day off on a positive note, so I sang this ditty by The Swans:

24 hours, split three ways.
Because you bought one third, you own everything.
Shut off the possibility, and wipe out the imagination.
Now the world stands still.
I'll take it with me to my grave.
Wrap your hands around my neck.
Now choke me slowly, but I won't die.
I know one thing, and one thing only: you are what you learn to need.
I'll surround myself with things that look like me.
I'll take them with me to my grave.

Heh heh, I like that song lots. I don't forget song lyrics after hearing them, apart from a particular song. Because I have rather long showers, I sometimes sing a whole set..

Do you really think that would make me sing, Thok? Think again!

I am an early riser, too. I just don't sing... which is probably good for the neighbors ;-) I sing while rollerblading - with nobody around.

"There was a booooooooy,
A very strange enchanted boooooooy......."

Then on to a rendition of;

"At laaaaaast, my looooove has come along,
My lonely days are over
(at the top of my lungs) And life is liiiiiike a song!"

But my favourite is;

"(with enthusiasm)Frondi tenere e belle
del mio platano amato,
per voi risplenda il fato.
Tuoni, lampi, e procelle
non v'oltraggino mai la cara pace,
ne giunga a profanarvi
austro rapace.

(more tenderly)Ombra mai fu
di vegetabile
cara ed amabile,
soave piu. (in various repititions)"
