Old oil painting

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about this old oil painting of mine (age, origin, etc.)?

I can't tell much about it asides the fact that it's definitely an oil painting and I'd guess quite old. There's no signature that I can see. It seems to have been restored by a professional quite recently as the wood of the canvas is new but the fabric itself is visibly a fair bit older.

@Eraofart,
first things first. Get a UV light (black light) and shine it onto the whites. Modern Titanium based whites will flouresce a bright bluish -white. (Same crap they put into toothpaste to make you think your teeth are whiter.)

If it flouresces, its no older than the 1920's
Then we can go further.

@Eraofart,
Because of the blue background and the energetic strokes, I'm seeing 1890-1920's

@Eraofart,
The more I look at it I see a fragment mounted on a very studentish "stretcher". It seems a secondary figure off of a much larger canvass or maybe a canvas wall covering. The canvas seems to be mounted on a later twentieth century board maybe Masonite.
