Please let me know if the following sentence is grammatically correct? Thank you very much.

As the prolonged closure of the toilet concerned is mainly due to the long pending for the commencement of your repair work on the toilet.

No, the sentence makes no sense. And it's only part of a sentence.

How about:

The toilet has been closed for a long time because we've been waiting for you to begin repairs.
