Edit [Moderator]: Moved from General to TV.
For the first time, I watched part of the World Series for Poker tonight (couldn't stand to watch the republican convention so I susbstituted some real fakers at work) and was fascinated at the way the play progressed.
Has anyone else watched it? Does anyone play poker on a regular basis?

I play on a regular basis, as does Occom Bill and Frank Apsia.
I've watched a lot of it. It's fascinating and not something I'm good at.
No, but on which broadcast station was it ?
I play every chance I can.Its a great way to pass the time.

Do you play just for fun with chips or do you gamble? If gamble, how much have you won or lost?

I play at the card clubs for real money. The most I've ever lost was 200.00. I won 26000.00 one night, but that was because I hit a progressive jackpot,
AHA! So THAT's where you got the capital to start your capybara enterprise! I'd always wondered...
I both play and watch poker quite often, and I have been glued to WSOP for a couple seasons now.
Last night, deciding to check out that new show Father of the Pride, I turned on NBC just as one of the lion characters mentioned the Wold Series of Poker's being on television (at least, I think he did). So, I immediately turned on ESPN thanks to that little, possibly imagined, hint from NBC.

Au contraire, my dear Eva. The capybara enterprise, and the years of hard work involved, enabled me to acquire a substantial amount of wealth and free time, some of which I use at the card club.
