I did not know the new version of Roots was on tonight. I found it and came at the point where Kunta Kinte acquires his new name of Toby. I like the way it is being presented so far.
Immediate rerun. We are getting close to where I came in.

Shoot, I forgot it started tonight. I'll check the A&E channel tomorrow for the broadcast times.
Can't find a UK screen time, all I could find was an article on what dress Anna Paquin wore to the premiere.

taping this as a series. Meh! not enthusiastically recieving it because I think its more for the half of the US population that wasnt even born when the first Roots was on tv.
I remember it was in a very cold snowy winter that we watched this.
