wiring

I have men wiring a shelter, from a distribution board and two way lighting with emergency key switch, my Question being:
In a industrial wiring with trunking and conduit, is there any regulation or standard that says we should wire to an end of line? So all three end of circuit cables are in the same item of equipment.
