Osso - digression threads all copied (except 25 - I'm working on that now that Deb's unearthed it!)
Send me a pm with snail mail address if you want a copy.

Boomerang.
Thanks for posting the Hugh Jass stuff. I had heard of him, but he's mostly retired / slink off by the time I got there.
Some great answers.

That was one of the funniest threads ever, Peace and Love! Thank you for posting the link.

Of course, many of us will now have to relive down those moments.

You're very welcome Margo. Hugh was one of my favorite people on Abuzz.

You know - I have been wondering - are they just gonna dump all that data from Abuzz?

It is a sociological gold-mine! Not to mention a writer's treasure trove - though accessing it in any coherent way.....oy veh!

Anon is trying to get them to donate it - I have no idea how that might work - and, as expected, he seems to be getting nothing back from the NYT.

I've been wondering the same thing, Dlowan.

Let me know if you discover some sort of portal to the virtual dump.

Don't change for us, sfbta.

This Prissy character seems to ask a lot of questions. I'm
suspicious, but that could be the zinc kicking in. I wonder what
Bootsy Collins would do? Perhaps I'll have a bracelet made up:
IWWBCWD? Dig?

Hi nimh....

LOL.... maybe I should have asked your permission to post a "personal ad" for you!!!.... There were some great ones in that thread.....

The Cafe101 threads were fun..... they were all written in the third-person..... we never did bring "The Suit" back from 1970..... LOL..... he's still at Madison Square Garden, at a Bootsy Collins concert..... LOL....

The memory that just came to me (probably because I just got home from a bar with similar circumstances) was one of my first days there (also my first days online) and running into princessash saying she was waiting and positively dying to talk to "somebody".

Well, being new to the whole inteernet thing I said I'd talk to her, only to find I was the only one on Abuzz who didn't know that "somebody" was what in grammar is called the known subject neohihip (sp) and was dully rebuffed as if I'd asked to see her breastacles when, in reality, I'd sincerely thought she just wanted to chat with a more generic "someone".

Hehe... I just found this thread and read this written by you, Craven... teehee :-) But your spelling is wrong
