How do I drag quotes from other posts?

How do I take a quote from a post to include it in mine? I've tried copy, paste but it just appears as text without the border that denotes it is from another post. Thank you in advance.

@TomTomBinks,
do you have the BBCode Editor enabled?

(look for green letters above the text box when you hit reply)

if it says Open BBCode Editor - do that Smile

@TomTomBinks,
Awesome, thanks! I'm really enjoying A2K. I've only been here a little while and I've already had some great conversations and have learned a lot. I've only ever participated in one other forum, but it was very subject specific. After a short time I ran out of things to say. I like to talk about many things but don't have too many opportunities for conversation. This site is a good outlet.

@TomTomBinks,
Tom Tom, I am happy you are here.

Ballast your hatches, as arguments get testy, if you get into them.

You can avoid all that, of course.

@ossobuco,
Mean time we seem to have a lot of spam, this now approaching midnight in New Mexico..

This will pass, thanks to the mods. That is not easy for them, big **** loads of stuff. but they take care of it.

Go here:
http://able2know.org/account/preferences/

Go to "Show quote button:"

Set it to "Yes"

Change any other settings as they appeal to you.

Hit the big green "Update Preferences" button at the bottom of the page.

Use the new "quote" button (now next to the "reply" button) when replying to posts.
