@Setanta,
Be honest with your data and cautious with your opinions?

That's not bad--but i would add that it would be best to lie in order to preserve one's relationships.

@Setanta,
Maybe it should be the doctor's oath, First Do No Harm, followed by, Remember Who You're Talking To, as the measurement of truth?

@Setanta,
Not long ago my 6yr old daughter said, "Daddy that sweatshirt makes you look less-fat than you really are". Smile I think I laughed for 10 minutes while she stared quizzically at me wondering what was so funny.

Caution: Too much sarcasm can result in a backlash.

I think this all comes down to knowing your audience (and whether they perceive life as a comedy or a tragedy).

@rosborne979,
I'd like to suggest a swap.

I'll send you Set if you send me that sweatshirt.

@rosborne979,
I can get him packaged up quickly. Your daughter will find him entertaining, and he's very good with dogs.

But I love that sweat shirt. It makes me look less fat than I really am. Now that I think about it, it might be worth a lot of money with a quality like that Smile

I got it by donating to Seti.org so it has a cool and nerdy logo on it too.

@Setanta,
Lies create a false reality.
If a false reality keeps you safe, by all means, invest in one.
I prefer truth, and the consequences thereof.
