@Bi-Polar Bear,
According to this information, Bear, they were "formed" in Sydney in 1973.
Though this doesn't tell us if that's where they actually migrated to & lived in Oz.
I'll bet someone comes along who'll be able to tell you, though!

@msolga,
... but for some reason, I associate Bon Scott with WA (Western Australia). Can't say with any certainty, though.
Anyone?

@Bi-Polar Bear,
... But I met them once. They were playing at a school I was working at. They were very quite & shy... & extremely noisy when performing. Smile

@djjd62,
You can actually remember Wandin Valley, djjd? Surprised
Amazing! What a memory!
When did you actually see A Country Practice* in Candada? (It was a very long running TV series, for those of you not in the know.)

(or is that "practise"*? Always confuse the two!)

@msolga,
we saw them in the late 80's early 90's, from the web i'd say the shows we saw were from about 83 to 89 0r so

The Flying Doctors episodes we saw at around the same time were the first shows (after the mini series), maybe two seasons worth

we also got a a season or two of something called Richmond Hill, a better soap than the dreaded Neighbours in my opinion, even though they were apparently from the same creator

@djjd62,
I don't suppose you ever went back as far as Homicide?
Now that really is ancient stuff!
Never saw Richmond Hill. But then, I didn't watch Neighbours, either.

@djjd62,
No, the Oz version. Really ancient, b&w stuff, It ran forever, though. On the smell of an oily rag. Shaking sets & constant car chases! I think that was the first of the Crawford Productions series.

There they are. The Homicide fellows. Endlessly chasing nasty criminal types around the back streets of Melbourne! Very Happy
