Blocked?!

So i met this guy online and we added each other on snapchat. We hung out for the first time the other day (i guess it was kinda a date but not really) and i thought it went well. Today a friend of mine added me on snapchat and when i go to add them back that guys username pops up too saying that he added me. When i go to add him back a gray message shows up at the top of the screen saying it cant find that username. I go to my friends list and hes not there, i go to search his username and i can find him, i go to add friends by number or by whos in my contacts list from my cell phone and hes not there. However, at the part where it says invite to snapchat i find his name and number. What does this mean? Did he block me? Or did he delete his snapchat account?
