Using bluetooth speaker

I just added a Bluetooth dongle to my desktop so I can play sound, my pc doesn't have a speaker attached. Every time I go to listen to multimedia, I have to remove and re-add the speaker in Bluetooth settings. I'm sure (or am hoping) there is a way to not have to do that. Any suggestions? Thanks
