Hi English teachers,
may I ask the meaning of the following sentence?Can I say that Default= forward means permitted to forward?
Default = forward: That which is not expressly prohibited is permitted
It is not clear what you are asking.
@Tes yeux noirs,
Hi,
I am asking the meaning of this sentence "Default = forward: That which is not expressly prohibited is permitted"
It is not a proper sentence. It does not really have a "meaning". It looks like one fragment and one sentence joined together with a colon (which is wrong).
Default = forward
This could mean "the default direction is forward". (The direction of what?)
That which is not expressly prohibited is permitted.
This is self explanatory.
