To double plural, or to not double plural. Need grammar help.

Analyses is the plural for analysis, meaning it refers to multiple studies, reports, examinations, etc.

If you are only compiling one monolithic analysis for all of the business operations, you would use analysis.

If you are compiling many small analyses and treating them separately regarding the same subject, you would indeed use analyses.

In order to know which form to use, you must understand the context, i.e. whether you have multiple reports or just one monolithic report.

I suppose, however, if you are talking in the current sense, then I suppose you should use analysis, since you are speaking of the action itself.
