Why isn't this working?

Hey so I've got a solar powered system going on in my van.
I have a head unit wired up in the back connected to two speakers aswell.
So for some reason it doesn't want to turn on until the sun is gone and the panel on my roof isnt getting any more charge.
I've tested both the ACC and Main power to the head unit and it is getting power.

Very confused here.
