60 Amp versus 100 Amp

I had a home inspector point out that I have a 100 Amp main disconnect/service box rating and my service size is 60 AMP. Can this be updated to 100 AMP service by adding the appropriate breakers or does the box have to be replaced.

@Piper0423,
You have to check the power line coming into your service box. They have to be rated for the amperage you want. Not sure if you mean you are using 60 amps from a 100 amp breaker box, or have 60 amps going into a 100 amp breaker box. Best to have a qualified electrician take a look at your needs.
