50 amp 240 to 15 amp 120

I have an 50 amp 240v outlet, how many 15 amp 120v outlets can I get from it? What Gauge wire do I need for a 50' run? How do I wire the outlets?
I am with a Lions Club and we need to hook up as many 1440 watt roasters as we can for a fundraiser.
