Hmmm - I had thought that this thread's name had taken on an unpleasantly ironic note - thefires have been burning for days now -still burning all over NSW and Victoria - still threatening Canberra - mor ehomes being burned - the train accident sort of put the icing on the cake.

Every time I come across this thread, I think it reads "Keep the Home-Fries Burning," and am always disappointed by the reality of it. Yep, could sure go with some home fries with some ketchup and Hot-Ass habañero sauce right now. Mmmmmmmmm.........

d'oh! (mmmmm, home fries. there's this place in santa cruz that has this breakfast called "mike's mess" -- just eggs and homefries and veggies mixed up in a casserole dish and baked, not a frittata exactly, something all it's own. mmmmmmmmmmm......... damn, i'm hungry.)
