OK - looks like we are having another war.

It is traditional upon such occasions, I gather, to have things to keep the morale up at home and to have folk who entertain the troops.

Sooooo - here is our very own travelling roadshow, Hollywood Canteen and local pub combined - where you can come to entertain, or be entertained, or just find a cosy nook away from the battle that rages about the whole thing here on A2k - if not yet actually on the sands of Iraq.

Come in and digress, dally, deliquesce, dawdle and delight those around you.

Absolutely no sense, please.

Oh - the drinks are on Craven.....

I want some sugar in my bowl
I want a little sweetness
down in my soul
I could stand some lovin' Oh so bad
Feel so lonely and I feel so sad
I want a little steam on my clothes
Maybe I could fix things up so they'll go
Whatsa matter Daddy
Come on, save my soul
Drop a little sugar in my bowl
I ain't foolin'
Drop a little sugar in my bowl
Well I want a little sugar in my bowl
Well I want a little sweetness down in my soul
You been acting strangely I've been told
Move me daddy
I want some sugar in my bowl
I want a little steam on my clothes
Maybe I can fix things up so they'll go
Whatsa matter Daddy
Come on save my soul
Drop a little sugar in my bowl
I ain't foolin
Drop some sugar- yeah- in my bowl.

Lullaby of Birdland, that's what I
always hear when you sigh.
Never in my wordland
could there be ways to reveal
in a phrase how I feel.
Have you ever heard two turtle doves
bill and coo when they love?
That's the kind of magic
music we make with our lips
when we kiss.
And there's a weepy old willow,
he really knows how to cry.
That's how I'd cry in my pillow
if you should tell me farewell and goodbye.
Lullaby of Birdland whisper low,
kiss me sweet and we'll go
flyin' high in Birdland,
high in the sky up above
all because we're in love.
