RABBIT AND WOLF FREE A FINNY FRIEND
Rabbit looked at Wolf and said
"We can help, but breaking him out,
I'm not so sure."
"Perhaps we should talk
with the fish keeper, Rabbit."
Dolphin muttered, "I'm a mammal."
Rabbit rolled her eyes and asked
"Dolphin, what is your keeper called?
Fish keeper or Mammal keeper?"
Dolphin lowered his eyes and said
"Fish keeper. That's why I do not belong here."
Wolf asked, "My finny friend, do you have a name?"
"Yes, I do. It's Albert, but most folks call me Dolphin."
"Ahh" Wolf said, "this could be helpful
when we talk to the fish keeper."
"I thank you for your efforts, friends."
Rabbit and Wolf waited patiently
for the fish keeper,
who was on a lunch break.
Suddenly, he arrived.
Rabbit thought he was
the strangest creature
she had ever seen!
Five legs, one body,
and a tin badge to match!
"What sort of beast are you?"
"I am a starfish, the fish keeper,
and I have the badge to match my bod.
That makes me sheriff in Oceanvile,
and never call me 'fish kipper'
if you know what's good for you."
Wolf interjected, "We are here
to ask you to free Albert, the dolphin."
"Why should I free that fish?"
Rabbit said "He's a mammal, not a fish."
Starfish pondered,
and polished his badge.
"A mammal...not a fish?"
"NO!" said Rabbit and Wolf in unison.
"Perhaps we can work out a deal," Starfish said.
"Fish are enough of a problem, mammals....
that's not my department."
Rabbit and Wolf looked at each other and smiled.
This was going to be a good day indeed.

Call me ignorant, but what does 'Mas' mean? Is it a diminutive of 'massive'?
You are doing great with this, Cav. I wouldn't change a thing.
ALBERT'S ADVENTURE
Rabbit scratched her head and wondered
how they could free Albert
in that great big tank of his?
Rabbit looked at Wolf.
He was busy
contemplating the snack bar.
"Lamb or venison?" he wondered.
Rabbit huffed
and took a peek
into Starfish's office.
Starfish was on lunch break.
What was that Rabbit saw?
An office chair, with four fine
removable wheels!
<will add more later>
Ahh...tanka.

I'll finish this chapter when back from chores.
I've read this thread from beginning to end and, rather like Dolphin, I'm captivated.
Have you finished your chores yet, cavfancier?
Thanks Tarah, I'm a bit under the weather at the moment, and completely knackered. I have written some notes, and will revisit the story soon.
