Thanks for the comments. Pretty realistic isn't it? Actually these are created "digital images." However, the inspiration came of course, from the real world of stain glass artcraft. The most popular digital imaging software for making these are Photoshop and PaintShop Pro. The design "templates" as well as the coded color glass, are the same in the real world, its just that in this case instead of using "real" glass, I use a photoshop plugin like Eye Candy to "simulate" the glass efect. Here's something similar I did to "fool" and even improve mother nature:
