@kingdean,
Everyone's diamond search is unique, but you may find this to be a helpful starting point.
Every diamond's quality and price are determined by a set of four conditions known as the four C's: Cut, Clarity, Color and Carat. Look for a balance of these four qualities without straining your budget.
1. Cut- it determines a diamond's shape and brilliance. Pick out the right shape of the diamond. Review possible shapes available on the market, and choose the one you like the best.
2. Clarity - refers to the purity of a diamond. You can ask the jeweler about the clarity of any diamond you consider purchasing.
3. Color - colorless stones are rare and reflect light better than tinted diamonds. Choose a diamond that balances colorlessness with price.
4. Carat - The weight or size of the diamond. The more carats a diamond has, the more expensive it will be.
Hope it helps.
