"Grand Ultimate Fist." Tai Chi, Taiji.
It's weird how Westerners translate terms. I guess it's phoenetic, given that English is not a tonal language like Chinese. I will remember Taiji.

ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our school taught basic Tai Chi, the slow form, advanced Tai Chi, the quick form, and Tai Chi sword as well. It is an awesome art form that binds the mind, body and spirit to each other.
hey cavfancier did you get MSN?
i know it is quite unpleasant and quite difficult to declare your own address in such kind of public place.
if you dont like to do so you can say no
actually you'd batter do that
sorry i mean you'd better not do that
I have MSN, but I don't use it. I am always signed out. I'm not fond of getting IMs. If you want to send me something, just use the PM function here on A2K.
asd
once upon a time in China, the new legend of shaolin, fist of fury, enter the dragon, the last scenes of Game of Death, all Bruce lee, especialy the chinese connection, enter/return dragon. early Jackine Chan like dragon fist/drunken master. the new legend of shaolin maybe the best of the best or at least as far as Jet Li is concerned. Wu Tang's are funny like Buddha assinator, or the four invincibles
Tai Chi Chuan I have heard it translated as both grand ultimate fist and grand ultimate boxing. Yang style is the most martial with chan being the least i believe,
I guess you're interested in older Kung Fu movies, but I just watched "Hero" a week ago and I loved it. I'm not much into Kung-Fu martial arts movies, but this one was just beautiful. I reccomend anyone who wants to see it to experience it at the theater, as the movie experience cannot be truly replicated on your TV. The colors were so alive, it was like a world I wanted to be a part of.
The saddest thing in martial arts films had to be one of the American Ninja sequels. Tadashi Yamashita cast as a thug with a tricky gun up his sleeve. I have seen weapons demonstrations by Yamashita, and IRL, he is so far above the level portrayed, he must have washed his hands after cashing the check.
