Hi, I work for a federal grant program as a coordinator! The district just went through an audit where my program was looked into along with payroll services and the arts department. Once the audit was complete without any notice it was sent to a newspaper and published with false accusations on my behalf. My name was all over the audit and my name was slandered and this information will forever be online for anyone to access. The audit was just sent district wide through email as well. Do I have a case of confidentiality and false accusations?

'Confidentiality' isn't a cause of action.
Talk to a lawyer in your jurisdiction. Present not only what you told us but also whatever you may have in writing about this matter.
