@Olivier5,
I really don't think that this is "fault" by 'Eurocrats'. Free movement is a core principle of the EU ... and the main reason, why the UK wanted to leave.

Quoting from an email by one of my (pro-EU) English friends:

People like me are described as "saboteurs".

@ossobucotemp,
She's got this huge inferiority complex that she deals with by lashing out at people.

@Olivier5,
What is a UK brown nosing.????
I am not for the Brexit, I am very sorry that Britain is leaving EU.
But I am also sorry for the tone that comes from the Eurocrats. It is not just in
connection with Brexit.
EU is against nationalism, but they being proud of EU is just as strong and as
bad as too much nationalism.

@saab,
Google it up.

The UK politicians make a huge mess and you blame the Europeans for it. Do you often blame the victim?

@saab,
I looked up the word.
I am a UK asskisser according to you.

To tell me something like this, just proves the nasty tone by the Eurocrats as
soon as you do not agree 100%.
I happen to like GB or UK or whatever you call it and I am sorry for what happened and it does not mean i am for a Brexit.
But to be told I am an asskisser by an EU lover - that is really very sad.

@Olivier5,
Yes, the UK politicians made a mess of it, but why did they leave.
Not because of the Europeans, but because of laws made by EU.
Even if UK leave EU they British people are still Europeans.

@saab,
That's what you are. You blaming their **** on the EU constantly. Open your eyes. They voted to get into Europe in the 70s, and then they voted to get out of it. Nobody forced them either way.

Keep spewing your contempt for Europe all you like, but the Brits own their brexshit.

I have absolutely nothing against Europe.
I am sceptical to EU.
That happens to be two different things.
I doubt very much that GB voted into Europe in the 70s. That island has been part of Europe for thouands of years.
In the 70s EU did not exist yet.
Many people within EU find EU has developed in a direction they had not expected.

Disappointing to see personal attacks against posters whose crime was to post their opinions.

This behavior is against TOS.

@Lash,
Yes. Seems like all threads eventually degenerate, and it's usually the same few people that are the cause.

I've just started reporting one-sided attacks when I see them.

------------------------------

Meanwhile, Mr Corbin, sounding a LOT like Bernie Sanders, is campaigning to make gains during the snap election.

Poor Brits must have whiplash from all the different directions they've pulled toward in the past few years. Corbyn is Remain, isn't he?

@Walter Hinteler,
The last 10 years EU has made 18 000 new laws. That is a bit more than just free movement et a.l

@saab,
This was one of the more important laws which took years to discuss.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/size-does-matter-for-the-euro-condom-1321626.html

How about rabbits and chickens?
In 2009 the EU introduced a law which suggested it was illegal to eat "pet" horses after staggering figures revealed that around two million pet horses are eaten across the EU each year.

In 2010 the EU decided to make sure one and all knew the difference between a turnip and a swede.
Most of us know one is written with a capital S. Usually Swedes are not sold in supermarkets amongst the vegetables.

Really? Children under 8 cannot blow up ballons in the EU without adult supervision

I have just finished reading an article about EU and Denmark in a Danish newpaper. A liberal paper that is. Not to the left nor to the right.
The article is about that the majority of the Danes support being part of EU, but also are critical to many things within EU.
I read the letters to the editor, which of course are not reprsenting the majority of the Danes. Just the ones answering this morning. But it is about how I have noticed it has been for a long time.
Here:
17 are critical to EU
2 blame how bad it is now on Merkel, Juncker and Hollande
1 thinks what Hitler did not destroyed, EU will
8 are positiv to EU
3 want out
1 wants back to EF
4 just asked another question
2 are very critical to Sweden
2 are just tolerating EU

Let us take a look at Sweden.
52% of the Sweden are for EU
28% are against
20% do not know. Does not surprise me. Swedes are afraid of conflicts. So better not say what you think.
58% are for remaining
25% want out
41 % want an election about stay or leave.

51% of the Europeans think that on EU level more decisions should be made
64% of the Swedes are strictly against it.

Why are the Swedes critical to EU?
It is currupt,
too much EU State and too little single national state
too expensive
too much influence on single nations

28% of the Europeans trust EU politicians
6% of the Swedes trust EU politicians.
Does not really speak for the EU politicians.

Fine. Just don't accuse the EU of causing Brexit and all the problems coming from it. That's adding insult to injury. That's blaming the victim. The UK owns their exit.
