I just got a new digital thermostat this past summer, and had the filter in my oil furnace changed. On one occasion, after I turned the heat off, it came on again briefly, then stopped. Yesterday, I turned it off for the night just as it was coming on; it took some time to turn off so I turned it off at the switch. Thoughts?
