Beautiful flocks demonstrate Emergence

We haven't discussed Emergence lately. Here's a beautiful example of a natural process which probably impacts our world in profound and subtle ways.



Emergence occurs in many forms, perhaps no more impressively as consciousness emerging from neural activity, although life itself could be considered an emergent property of chemistry or atoms.
