Just had a compression check on my '97 Tracker/Vitara with 1600
motor. #1: 145psi #2: 145psi #3: 140psi and #4: 150psi. Anybody know
what the compresssion is on a new motor and is the variation in mine
cause for concern? Motor has about 100K on it.

that's not bad at all showing not much variance, probably some ring and valve wear but nothing serious yet.
