a new, refined version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory is coming out. Anybody know if thats true?
Yep i heard that too, cant remember where, but heard that Jonny Depp is to star as Willy Wonka..

Depp as Wonka? I just don't think that that's right... if one is to be true to the original story, Wonka should be a goony looking eccentric, unlike Jonny Depp completely.
But he's a versatile actor, i think he'd be perfect. He can play a paraletic pirate, and edward scissorhands, so why cant he play a goofy eccentric?
I think it should be an older guy. As much as I hate Robin Williams, perhaps he'd be good.
