Would appreciate a feedback of folks who owned a lincoln.
I am considering buing this car. It's your 97, has 63K on it and looks and feels like new. The price is within my budget and I like the color. Leather and all. Though it is not as spacious as I'd wanted my car to be.
I was wondering how relyable this car is. How it feels.
Hy husband tryed it - said the motor feels great.
Please let me know what is your experience with
a lincoln you owned.
Thanks
Welcome to A2K, Miriam.
You don't specify which model, but since you say it's not very 'spacious', I'll assume that it's either a Continental or a Mark VIII.
I owned a '97 Mark VIII which I purchased in the spring of '99 and owned for about one year.
It was one of the best cars I ever owned. Black with tan interior, 30K miles, chrome rims, looked and felt like driving the Batmobile.
Before that I had owned a '95 Town Car, which was also an excellent car.
I will forewarn you that that generation of Lincolns had an odd suspension system consisting of a set of bladders, which over time will rupture, causing the car to collapse onto the springs. Replacement can be a coupla thousand bucks.
Be sure and check to see if that has been replaced in the car you're considering. If it has not, I would avoid it.
Thnks for the response.
Still didn't get
a car...
